These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the use of SMS messaging features within nesen.ai, operated by Acknowledge.ai, Inc. By using our SMS features, you agree to these terms.

Service Description

nesen.ai is a B2B supply chain management platform that helps businesses track purchase orders and communicate with suppliers. Our SMS messaging feature enables users to send text message follow-ups to their suppliers regarding purchase order status, delivery confirmations, and related business communications.

How SMS Messaging Works

When you use nesen.ai's SMS features:

  • You initiate messages: SMS messages are only sent when you explicitly click the "Send Text" or similar action button in our application
  • Messages are sent on your behalf: Messages appear to come from your business and include your business context
  • Supplier phone numbers: Phone numbers are either extracted from your email communications or manually entered by you

Consent & Authorization

Your Authorization

By using the SMS messaging feature in nesen.ai, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have an existing business relationship with the supplier(s) receiving messages
  • You have obtained appropriate consent from the recipient to receive business communications via SMS
  • You authorize nesen.ai to send SMS messages on your behalf to the supplier phone numbers stored in your account
  • You will not use this feature to send spam, unsolicited messages, or messages to parties without a legitimate business purpose

Message Content

SMS messages sent through nesen.ai typically include:

  • Purchase order reference numbers
  • Delivery status inquiries
  • Follow-up requests for order updates
  • Your business identification
  • Opt-out instructions (STOP to unsubscribe)

Sample Message:

Hi, this is a follow-up from [Your Company] regarding PO #12345. The expected delivery date was Jan 15. Could you provide an updated status? Reply STOP to opt out.

Opt-Out Instructions

Message recipients can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP: Text STOP to any message to unsubscribe from future SMS communications
  • Reply HELP: Text HELP to receive support information and contact details

Once a recipient opts out, no further SMS messages will be sent to that phone number from your account.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on:

  • Your purchase order activity
  • Follow-up needs for at-risk or delayed orders
  • Your manual initiation of messages

Messages are not sent automatically without your action. You control when and to whom messages are sent.

Costs & Carrier Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply to recipients based on their mobile carrier plan. nesen.ai does not charge recipients for receiving messages, but their carrier may apply standard SMS rates.

Data Privacy

Phone numbers and message content are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share supplier phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our SMS features to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited messages
  • Harass or threaten recipients
  • Send messages for purposes unrelated to legitimate business communications
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Send messages to phone numbers without proper business justification

Disclaimer

While we strive to deliver messages reliably, we cannot guarantee delivery of every SMS message. Delivery depends on carrier networks, recipient device status, and other factors outside our control.
